We have been associated with HMEL since they commenced operations and are the only DCA & CS with multi region locations and depots in both North and West India.

HMEL currently operates a state of the art crude oil refinery of 11.3 MMTPA capacity at Bathinda in Punjab along with a Polypropylene unit with a production capacity of 500,000 MT/annum, utilizing Novolen Gas Phase technology. Novolen Technology enables to produce Polypropylene material ranging from 0.3 MFI to as high as MFI 120.
HMEL is undertaking a major expansion by setting up a world class Dual feed Cracker and Petrochemical complex integrated with existing refinery at Bhatinda. On it's completion HMEL shall produce a total of 2.25 Million MT/annum of Polyethylene (PE) and Polypropylene (PP) products catering to all application segments.

Polypropylene (PP) Units:
HMEL is operating one Polypropylene plant of Gas Phase Technology, licensed from Lummus Novolen Tech GmbH, Germany with production capacity of 500,000 MT/annum. HMEL is setting up a second Polypropylene plant of latest Spheripol-II technology, licensed from Lyondell Basell, Italy, with an additional production capacity of 500,000 MT/annum
These plants have flexibility to manufacture various grades of PP Homo Polymer, Random Copolymer, Impact Copolymer and TerPolymer for meeting the demand of diverse application segments. More information about the PP grades can be found here
Polyethylene (PE) Units:
Dedicated HDPE Unit: HMEL is setting up a dedicated HDPE plant of Advanced Dual Loop MarTechTM technology licensed from Chevron Phillips Chemical, USA with a production capacity of 450,000 MT/annum. This technology is capable of producing a wide range of speciality HDPE grades. The HDPE grades for the 'Large Blow Molding' application produced on this technology is a global benchmark grade in the industry.
LLDPE / HDPE Swing Units: HMEL is setting up two Swing plants of Gas Phase - UNIPOLTM PE technology licensed from Univation Technologies, USA, to produce both LLDPE and HDPE with a total production capacity of 800,000 MT/annum. These swing plants have the flexibility to produce a wide range of Polyethylene grades for various applications, including the metallocene LLDPE grades.
